Absences & Lates

    If you are going to be absent you will need to email HR before 9:30am on the day of your absence. In your email you will need to include your name, department, the reason for your absence and the duration of your absence if known. You will need to state clearly in the subject of your email that you are going to be absent.

    If you are going to be late, you will need to email HR before 9:30am on the day of your lateness. In your email you will need to include your name, department, the reason for your lateness and the time of when you will be in the office if known. You will need to state clearly in the subject of your email that you are going to be late.

    Alternatively, if you do not have internet access you can call us on our office number 0121 318 6224 before 9:30am and you will need to state whether you are going to be absent or late. You will need to state the information as mentioned above (name, department, reason for absence/lateness, duration of absence/lateness). A member of Admin will then email HR on your behalf to confirm your absence or lateness. They will also inform your Department Head of your absence or lateness.
